I was looking for a spot to hang out near Union Station while I was waiting to catch my train home to Michigan recently. I found Heritage Outpost on Yelp so I figured I would stop in. The space is located on the main floor of an office building and was very open and airy. They had outdoor seating overlooking the river, which was nice. I walked in around 11:15 am and saw a sign that said they'd be back at 11:30. The decor of this spot is interesting, with varied seating and room for groups, as well as a large bus inside...? I took a seat at a table and read for a bit until I could order a drink. I got an oat milk iced latte which was around $8 after tip, kind of yikes! It was quite good, but not the best latte I've ever had. The space was nice to hang out in for a bit and I appreciated the clean restroom with no code to enter.

I hate to call it a hidden gem but it truly is. Great place to spend a couple hours doing some work with a nice view of the river. My lavender latte was delicious and the barista was so friendly. A little busier during the lunch hour when people working in the building come downstairs for lunch. Really great vibe.

THE coffee spot that nobody knows. Epic views of the river. Super quiet here, not many people but is my new go-to spot to get work done. Only complaint is I wish business hours were longer or open on weekends. TV available to use, board games, and free Retro Arcade machine!

If there was a bucket list of coffee shops to visit while you work on your laptop this one is it ! The large glass windows offer two benefits , you can get some sunbathing in and watch the tour boats go by on the river . There is a lot of seating and wifi works great . It is a nice quiet place as well . BUTTTT - when it's lunch time people flock here with their lunches and it can get a little crowded and loud . My only recommendation is to go before lunch . The coffee is delicious Parking is difficult Wifi works great

This is my new favorite coffee shop and I love how spacious it is, with chill and non-disruptive music, lots of natural light, a patio so you can eat lunch or take a break outside, etc.!! Friendly baristas too

Adorable, though a teensy bit overpriced. This place is airy and adorable - the ideal sort of coffee shop for its location. The interior is insanely clean and well-decorated, so it's hard to not want to camp out here a bit. As nice as this place is, there are some caveats. The prices here are a hair high, even for the area. The drinks and pastries are good, just not to the level to command their price.

A spacious, beautiful space with modern decorations and furniture. There is ample sitting area and the coffee is as good as ever. Good for friend meetings, work meetings, etc. There are various spaces to occupy - round tables, bench tables, coffee table sitting areas, couches, etc. Service is very straight forward and to the point. No dilly dally!
